    This spreadsheet allows the user to compute oxygen levels in a tank as a function of time along a flight profile entered by the user. It allows the user to introduce nitrogen-enriched air (NEA) into the tank at different flow rates and quality (% Oxygen) to size an inerting system. The program allows the user to enter tank size, fuelling effects, ambient temperatures, and oxygen level in the fuel and in the ullage at the start of the case. The input data is entered and the "run program" button clicked, and the output is displayed as a plot of oxygen level versus time.

    This program allows the user to estimate the worldwide fleet flammability exposure for a tank in an airplane. The program requires the user to enter the airplane performance data, such a max range, cruise mach number, and typical step climb altitudes, and tank thermal characteristics specified as exponential heating/cooling time constants and equilibrium temperatures for various tank conditions. Single flights may be studied, or a Monte-Carlo analysis run using a thousand or more flights may be selected.
    The results of this analysis, when reviewed and accepted by the FAA, may be used to establish the fleet flammability exposure level for a given tank in assessing the impact of flammability on the SFAR 88 safety analyses.
